Chitwan Tigers stormed into their first-ever Bajaj Pulsar EPL final. It was rather a cakewalk for Sompal's side in the big qualifier-1 as they rolled Pokhara Rhinos out for a mere 66 - the lowest ever total in the tournament's history. In the dismissal run-chase, they took only 7.5 overs to knock down the target. Thanks to big-hitting Afghan wicket-keeper Mohammad Shahzad who struck 26-ball 48 with the help of 7 fours and 2 sixes.
It was a promising start for Pokhara Rhinos as the pair of Richard Levi and Sunil Dhamala took them to 33/0. But what followed after that was an absolute disaster. Tigers spin twins pocketed 4 wickets apiece as Rhinos lost the last 9 wickets for the next 33 runs. Richard Levi top-scored sorry-looking Rhinos scorecard with 19 off 12, hitting 2 fours and 1 six.
