It is with great pleasure that we announce that Cricket Association of Nepal has approved the revised date for the coming season of Everest Premier League. As per the new dates, EPL is scheduled for March 14, 2020 - March 28, 2020 and the same dates have been forwarded to the International Cricket Council (ICC)for approval. We hope for the same cooperation and support from ICC, NSC, Nepali Media and Nepali Cricket fans as we received last year. Preparations are in full swing for the coming season and as we announced in our last release, big players can be expected to be a part of EPL 2020.
NEW PLAYERS TRADE AND RELEASE RULE FOR EPL
1. Each team can only put their "Category A Player" (as defined by EPL Committee) up for Trade. The names of which are provided below:

(EPL Technical Committee has decided the category of the players in accordance to recent performances in National and Domestic Circuit)
2. Any team can offer any price for any of these players and if the team that currently owns the player agrees on the amount, the player can be sold. The base price of each player for trade is NRs. 200,000. Any amount above the base price of NRs. 200,000, sixty percent of the amount goes to the player and forty percent goes to the franchise. Player trade is optional. Each team can sell/ buy a maximum of two players. The sold players do not necessarily have to be replaced by Category A Players and can be replaced via Players Release which is to follow.
3. The amount the player is bought/sold is confidential. The buying of the player is for this season only. The trade window will be open from January 02 - January 9, 2020. The player does not have a say in the amount he is bought/sold.
Apart from this the players release modality for the players not in Category A is the same as last year.
