Tigers continue to roar in the fourth edition of Bajaj Pulsar Everest Premier as they register 4 consecutive wins. This time opposition was Lalitpur Patriots. Young pacer Kamal Singh Airee provided early inroads, took 3/11 and rightly bagged player of the match award. He was backed up by Afghan all-rounder Karim Janat (2/24) and left-arm spinner Sagar Dhakal (2/14) as Tigers limited Lalitpur Patriots to mere 108/9. Only notable contribution was Jaykishan Kolsawala's 33-ball 42.
In reply, Chitwan took little over 17 overs to knock down 118. Thanks to Chief contributions from Mohammad Shahzad (35) and Bhim Sharki (27) - the duo whose partnership won them previous match as well. Defending 109, young left armer Rijan Dhakal and Afghan all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai took two wickets apiece. The virtue of this win, Tigers ensure they finish top of the table whereas Patriots' playoff hope now depends on Kathmandu Kings XI.
