Bhairahawa Gladiators thrashed Biratnagar Warriors to climb the top of the points table. Registering their first win, Gladiators rolled out Warriors for a mere 89 led by veteran Lankan pacer Dhammika Prasad who scalped 3/6. It was an exhibition of excellent seam bowling as all the 5 bowlers were amongst the wicket. Dilshan Munaweera top-scored for Biratnagar in a sorry-looking scorecard with 25 off 20 balls including 2 fours and 1 six. Bhairahawa chased down the total in less than 16 overs with little sweat. Opener Pradeep Airee struck 3 fours during his little less than run-a-ball 22 before Karan KC had him. Firey pace Ramnaresh Giri struck twice in the middle to provide some hiccups. Former Lankan opener Upul Tharanga guided the chase with an unbeaten 34 off 35 balls with the help of 4 fours. With back-to-back losses, Warriors are at the fifth position in the points table just above Patriots.
