POKHARA RHINOS BEAT LALITPUR PATRIOTS BY 9 WKTS

After two days of no play, fans finally witnessed some action, even though it was only a 7-over match. Pokhara Rhinos registered their first win of the tournament as they secured an easy 9-wicket win over the depleted Lalitpur Patriots side. Rhinos limited patriots to 51/6 in the 7 overs courtesy of brilliant bowling from Nandan Yadav and Bikram Sob, who shared 5 wickets between them conceding only 22 runs in 4 combined overs. Overseas pacer Kesrick Williams also chipped in with one wicket. While Lankan Overseas duo Sandun Weerakkody and Oshada Fernando hit 19 and 10 respectively, Narayan Joshi played cameo off 5-ball 11. On the back of unbeaten 22-ball 38 from dashing former proteas opener Richard Levi, Rhinos chased down in the final over. Levi smashed 5 fours and 1 six. He was assisted by young gun Rit Gautam who contributed 12 off 14.
