In reply to Kathmandu Kings XI's 182/8, Rhinos were 142/5 in 15 overs after rain halted the game. With no possibility of further play, they secured 14 runs win via the D/L method over Kathmandu Kings XI. Lankan all-rounder Sahan Arachchige led the chase with 43 off 23 (4 fours and 3 sixes) whereas half-centurion from the previous match Bibek Yadav struck an unbeaten 28-ball 41(4 fours and 2 sixes). Yadav was equally helped by blooming talent Lokesh Bam, who smashed 18 off 8 balls (3 fours).
With an aim to qualify for playoffs, Kathmandu Kings XI walked in the park but two early wickets rocked them into backfoot. However, a century run stand between Ameet Shrestha (56) and Ryan Burl (50) put them into a comfortable position. Skipper Lamichhane promoted himself at no.6 and clobbered 31 off just 11 balls including 2 fours and 3 sixes. Bibek Yadav was the pick of the bowler for Rhinos as he took 3/7 from his lone over.
